Voici les deux premières boards que je viens de terminer ce soir, matt aime beaucoup, on avait donc à la base 40 commandes, mais le distributeur japonnais de LOST SURFBOARDS, vient donc de nous commander 20 boards de plus!! c'est vraiment cool!!

au programme donc, des résines teintées trashy, mais avec des couleurs très fluo, et des polish, avec des effets mat/polish sur les rails et les logos!

This is the 2 first boards as i finished tonight, matt like that, in first we had 40 orders, but the japanese distributor of LOST SURFBOARDS, like the boards, and order us 20 more boards!! That's very cool!

So we do, colour resin, trashy, with very fluorescent colors, and polish with sanded finish/polish effect. On the rails and on the logos!

Nous voici, Mon pote Paul et moi même arrivée en Californie, à San-Clémente, où nous avons commencé à bosser et surfer bien sûr il y à déja quelques jours, Ici les gars chez Lost nous appellent les "COOL KIDS", toutes les fiches techniques des planches que nous glassons sont nommées comme ça!Au programme donc pour l'instant chez LOST, plus de 40 planches à faire entièrement de A à Z par Paul et moi-même. Résine teintée, polish, Matt biolos donc le shaper et fondateur de Lost veut des couleurs très flashy et trash, nous avons donc essayez pas mal de nouveaux truc sur ces premières boards, et pour l'instant ça le fait Biolos est très content. Nous sommes donc hébergé gratuitement chez biolos et sa famille avec sa ribambelle de petit loupiot. Nous avons était accueilli comme des princes à mon grand étonnement! Je ne reviens toujours pas de l’accueille qui nous a été fait alors que nous ne sommes que de simples glasser. Le premier jour, à peine arriver, Matt nous a amené surfer avec lui à Lower (trestles) où une droite d'1m50 déroulais sur plus de 100m de long! Impressionnant ici de voir que tout les jours sont offshore en ce moment avec de la houle tout les jours et du soleil! ouais c'est assez paradisiaque! Putain on est à fond! Paul à déja rencontré une petite califonienne qu'il doit aller voir demain soir à Laguna Beach, et nous allons pas tarder à nous faire piquer par les meilleurs tatoueurs de Venice beach! VIVA LA CALIFORNIA!!!

Here we are, My buddy Paul and I the same arrival in California, to San-Clemente, where we began to work and to surf of course already since a few days, Here at Lost surfboards everybody call us the "COOL KIDS"!!! I do not still return of welcomes it which was made for us while we are only of simple to glasser. The first day,it dly to arrive, Matt brought us to surf with him to Lower ( trestles ) where a right of 1m50 unwound on more of 100m of length! Impressing here to see that everything days are offshore.At the moment with the swell everything in daytime and of the sun! Yeah it is rather paradisiac! Whore we are completely! Paul already met a californian girl that he has to visit tomorrow evening to Laguna Beach, and we are going not to delay making us fall by the best tattooers of Venice Beach! VIVA LA CALIFORNIA!!!

Et voila, après avoir fêter le nouvel an sous le pont de Sydney hier soir, je commence à packer mes affaires, et donc demain départ pour LOS ANGELES, où mon deuxième Lucky Bastard (Paul) me rejoint! ça va etre grave!!je viens de passer 3 mois géniaux ici à Sydney, j'ai bosser sur un paquet de belle boards, j'ai rencontré des superbes personnes, j'ai surfer des pures vagues et évidemment je suis un peu triste de partir d'ici, mais en même temps tellement excité de continuer mon voyage! Juan m'attend donc de pied ferme l'année prochaine, c'est décidé je reviendrais donc travailler ici l'hiver prochain.

After celebrate the new year under the bridge of Sydney, yesterday night, i starting to pack all my stuff, and tomorrow departure for LOS ANGELES! Where my second Lucky Bastard (Paul) will meet me! It's will be fuckin good!! I just spend 3 amazing months here in Sydney, I worked on beautiful boards, i met amazing peoples, i surfed good waves, so yeah i'm little bit sad to leave here, but so excited to continue my travel! Hey, this is a trailer of my film documentary as i'm doing right now! It's a trailer with the australian part only, because i'm actually doing this film, so my travel/film is not finished yet.

SACRE BLEU is a documentary film of 1hour30min, which calls the best glassers / shapers / artists / photographers around the world to tell their story, it is also a travelogue, which traces the 8 months of my experience going through the world to work myself in all these workshops surfboards, since I am myself Glasser. Starting with Australia and California, Canada, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and the film not just talking about "glassing" because it incorporates many different images lyfestyle, surfing (many images aquatic ), skate, music and landscape. Polish job for CARL LAMAITRE on his pipeliner single fin

Je viens de finir aujourd'hui le pipeliner de CARL, avec pas mal "d'options" dessus, tout d'abord carl a sorti un shape hyper design, uniquement conçu pour le tuberide, et avec un spoon sur le nose, puis il à glassé le bottom en translucide "avocat", puis le top avec un tissu glassé, et m'a laissé libre cour pour le reste, j'ai donc polishé uniquement le" patch de tissu déco" le bottom+les rails sont donc en sanded finish, et j'ai laissé le spoon au nose en texture "fibre de verre", il n'y à donc aucun hot coat/gloss sur cette endroit, la fibre n'est pas ponçée, cela fait donc une texture différente avec un aspect "trame"!!!cool!

I just finished today the "pipeliner" of Carl, with lot of "options" on, in first Carl did a hyper design shape, only build for tuberide, with a spoon on the nose, and he glassed the bottom with a translucent "avocado", and the top with a "fabrics", and then i did a "abstract finish" : the bottom and the rails are in sanded finish, and polished only the "fabric patch", and leave a fiberglass texture on the spoon: no hot coat/gloss, the fiber is no sanded, it's only the fiberglass! cool!

C'est moi qui m'occupe de poncer toutes les Gato Heroi pour l'australie, que Evan (Sickrat) shape et glass, ce mec est un inventeur!! Pour moi il à révolutionné l'art du glass! Il a crée un style avec les gato heroi, qu'on ne voit nulle part ailleurs, la preuve avec ce vee-bottom bien classic, qu'il vient de teinté en faisant des patchs volan, complétement abstrait et asymétriques! Il vient encore une fois d'inventer sous mes yeux la semaine dernière un nouveau glass, cela fait maintenant plusieurs semaines que je le filme pour le long métrage/documentaire que je suis en train de réaliser à l'occasion de mon voyage.

I sanded this Gato Heroi, as My dude Evan (sickrat) as shaped and glassed, fuck!!this man is a creator!!! For me he did a revolution in the glass history! He has created something new with the gato heroi. For example look at this Classic Vee-bottom, as he shaped for himself, he did a crazy abstract patch, and that's awesome! I film him since a couple of weeks, for the film/documentary as i do for my travel.

Voici les 2 polishs que j'ai fait aujourd'hui.
This is the 2 polish as i did today!
Me voici donc de retour dans cette bonne vieille factory! Chez mon poto juan rhino de RHINOLAMINATING, à SYDNEY en Australie. Et c'est marrant ici rien à changé (à part peut être les chiottes qui sont encore plus dégueulasse qu'avant!). Les retrouvailles ont était assez marrantes, ont s'est raconté des blagues de ponceurs entre ponceurs, des anecdotes (40 bonzer 5 à polisher... ou Troy me racontant comment il avait défoncé une board lorsque la machine c'était coincé entres les ailerons fixes...)
Bref aujourd'hui était mon premier, et c'était cool! Quelle bonne factory!
Un nouveau glasser est présent, SICKRAT de GATO HEROI, vit maintenant ici, et donc bosse ici, il est cool et fait du bon boulot.
Et comme vous pouvez le voir la salle de glass est recouverte de sable, ce qui est très pratique pour glasser et nettoyer, et assez marrant car on se croirait vraiment à la plage!
J'ai commencé la journée en faisant deux polishs longboards, dont un STEVE O'DONNELL très bon shaper de longboard!

I'm back to this lovely factory of my buddy Juan Rhino of RHINO LAMINATING in Sydney, Australia. And that's funny, because here nothing has change! (whithout maybe the toilet are more dirty!)
So today was my first day, it was great!! A new glasser is here now it's SICKRAT from GATO HEROI SURFBOARDS a lovely guy, and he do a very good job!

Voila cela fait donc plusieurs mois que je travaille sur ce projet, un petit film tout court, que j’ai entièrement réalisé avec une vieille caméra BAUER et donc shooté sur du film SUPER8.

Bref, ce n’est pas une vidéo de surf ou de skate, c’est juste une vidéo de tout et de n’importe quoi, avec des gens que j’apprécie, un peu de skate un peu de surf et de la bonne musique.

Voici les dernières planches que je viens de faire chez PUKAS, avant de quitter la France pour l'hiver, Je part demain pour travailler au chaud pendant 7 mois, et prendre quelques jours de vacances, et revenir au mois de Mai, rebosser pour les memes. Paul lui reste en France, Il va continuer à glasser pour PUKAS et BLEND, et retaper ses vieilles bagnoles américaines.
Mais il me rejoint au mois de Janvier et Fevrier, où nous allons bosser ensemble.

Voici donc le plan: à partir de demain petit surf trip au portugal, puis le 3 Octobre départ pour l'australie, où je vais bosser à Sydney chez WILDE SURFBOARDS/GNECH SURFBOARDS/ et pour une petite boite de glass qui glass les RUSTY (j'y avais déja bosser il y a deux ans).
Puis le 2 janvier départ pour La Californie à SAN CLEMENTE où nous allons bosser chez LOST SURFBOARDS avec Paul, Matt biolos nous à commandé 40 planches résines teintées polish, les planches en photos ci-dessus sont donc des échantillons pour son prochain catalogue.
Puis fin Mars pour moi départ au canada à vancouver (tofino) où je vais rejoindre mon ami LOUIS ROBERT d'addiction surfboards pour une semaine, puis départ pour un mois au nicaragua/costa rica en surf trip, et retour en france au mois de mai!
Le blog continuera d'etre alimenté par Paul pour les news de la france, et par moi meme pour les news d'australie.

Here are the latest boards as I have did for Pukas, before leaving France for the winter, I leave tomorrow for work under the sun for seven months, and take some vacation days and return in May, for work again with PUKAS and many others factorys. Paul stay in France,he will continue to Glass for PUKAS and BLEND, and prepare their old American cars.
But he joined me in January and February, where we will work together.

Here's the plan: starting tomorrow little surf trip to Portugal, then on October 3 left for Australia, where I work in Sydney in WILDE SURFBOARDS / GNECH SURFBOARDS / and a small factory of glass where they glass RUSTY (I already work for them there is two years ago).
Then on January 2 departure for California in San Clemente where we will work with LOST SURFBOARDS with Paul, Matt biolos us ordered 40 boards with pigment and polish, above pictures are samples for the next catalog.
Then late in March to start for me in vancouver canada (Tofino) where I will join my friend ROBERT LOUIS of addiction surfboards for a week, then departure for a month in Nicaragua / Costa Rica surf trip, and returned to France in the month of May!

End of the italian trip GATO HEROI

Yesterday was our last day in italy, i finished all the boards in the good moment, and 2hours after we take the road by night for france, giovanni drive me and robin until biarritz, (just a funny story: all our own boards was on the roof of the car, and at 4 o'clock of the morning, the all the boards get out of the roof, and all the boards was broken!! shit!)
wathever, just after arrived in biarritz we take some very small but funny waves at bidart, i have some photos of that, i will make in few days on the blog.
I'm really stoked! It was a very good trip!!
I met unreal people (like this customer drawing me a t-shirt)
and the job was good,
we ride some italian waves too,
and eat some unreal food!!
Now i'm still working all the time for GATO HEROI,
We have now lot of boards to do with robin for this summer, and we will make an other italian tour for the next year!

I just see my dude Paul! we go together tomorrow at blend glassing!

MY GATO HEROI TRIP part2

I have very good time with Robin and giovanni! We surfing during 2 days, small waves, but we have fun, i have so much work! Yesterday night with robin we working until 3 o'clock of the morning!
but It's a very good trip! and we make a lot of good restaurant! the food here is amazing!
we have to work until sunday, and after we go back in france, and i work again for robin, we have to make a lot of gato heroi for france! here we go!!

1st day in ITALY for GATO HEROI / BEACHBUM LOVERS

Bonjourno! Me voila arriver cet après midi à milan, Après une petit heure d'avion, où Robin est déja présent depuis 1semaine.
Il termine tout les glass demain, et donc je commence les hot coat, et à poser les glassons et tout ce qui s'en suit.
au programme 8 planches, 2 en glassons, et 3 en polish et 5 en wet sanding.
Nous prévoyons une super session de surf pour mercredi soir et jeudi matin, et nous redescendons dans le pays basque tous ensemble dans la nuit de samedi. La venue de GATO HEROI et moi-meme est organisé par BEACHBUM LOVERS, jonji s'occupe de tout sa, il nous heberge moi et Robin chez lui et sa copine, c'est fou l’accueil est royal, on est traité comme des rois! J'en reviens pas! Ils sont tellement adorable!
bref plein de photos à venir!

Bonjourno! I just arrived this morning at MILAN, after one hour of flight, where Robin is already here since one week,.
He finished all the glass tomorrow, so tomorrow i start to work (put glassons/hot coat...)
Normally we go to surf on wenesday night and thursday morning. This coming of GATO HEROI and myself is organised by jonji of BEACHBUM LOVERS, He is a very good guy! Me and Robin are sleeping at their home (jonji and his girlfriend Bennie) They are so nice with us!! it's crazy we are like kings! They are lovely! it's should be a good trip!
