nose without stringer
Ce matin renaud était en train de shaper un longboard 9 pieds, quand tout
à coup j'aperçois le nose du longboard se tordre comme un chewing-gum! Normal renaud était en train de shaper un longboard au nose sans latte! Sacré filou se renaud!!
This morning renaud was shaping a longboard 9 foot,
then I saw the nose of the longboard twist like a gum! Of course renaud was shaping a longboard without stringer at the nose! Sacred trickster is renaud!

"Mini-simmons surfboards religion"

Seconde édition du mini-simmons, pour l'ami benoit jean of sooruz! Cette fois ci en résine teintée jaune dessus dessous, glass on, et le shape légèrement changé: un peu plus grand, la cuillère du bottom plus étroite et les bords du tail légèrement arrondi. La finition demandée n'est pas un gloss/polish mais une finition: "régular" (comme on dit chez nous), c'est à dire qu'on fait le ponçage en seule fois et je commence au 120 et termine au 400 à sec et je ne poli pas je lustre tout simplement(15 min max), autant dire que pour mois c'est beaucoup plus dur! session matinale à "chassiron"...
Ce matin avec antoine, nous partons a deux, levé à 4h30 du matin, l'aube apparait, le vent est trés faible et offshore, nous fonçons dans l'ile d'oléron, et arrivé au phare de chassiron: personne a l'eau (évidemment il est 5h30 du matin!) 1m50 trés trés long, et le soleil, bref que du bonheur avant de s'enfermer dans la salle de glassage ou il y fait un bon 35 degrés!

"mini simmons fins" #2
Aprés un premier essais trés concluant du mini simmons! Nous voici repartis pour un deuxième qui sera shapé d'ici peu, j'ai donc shapé les ailerons en attendant!
